Avoiding Injuries when Running Morris Water Maze
Over the years we've noticed that scientists and technicians who have not been careful setting up the ergonomics of their water maze tanks have had ongoing problems from back pain.
I think the best practice would be to try to follow ISO 9241 the international standard on Ergonomics and workspace safety. Since you'll be working from standing, not sitting you need to chose the relevant height and as you'll know from experience the best height for the water surface in the tank is about elbow height. Don't just put a 60cm heigh tank on the floor - either raise it or use a 90cm+ tank.
